A look back on Social and Cultural Programme highlights
2022 was a fantastic year for the social and cultural programme at NILE.
NILE participants went to the pub, on guided walking tours of Norwich, weekend excursions to places such as Cambridge, the Norfolk coast and London and had afternoon teas, along with a range of other events.

NILE supports local sustainable project
At NILE we are committed to minimising the impact of our activities on the environment. One of our aims - to engage in local, national and global community efforts to minimise climate change - has propelled us to team up with local educational charity The Papillon Project, which works with Norfolk secondary schools to set up allotment projects.

MA Graduate Garry Hobbs wins The Master's Dissertation Award
We are delighted to announce that this year, NILE's MA graduate Garry Hobbs is the joint winner of this prestigious award, with his dissertation "An Investigation into the Impact of Using Take-home Tests as an Assessment for Learning Strategy on Young Learners' English Language Learning Motivation in a Private Thai Language School".
