At NILE, the welfare of our students and staff is always our top priority. Following the latest step in the UK government plan for easing COVID-19 restrictions we are moving towards re-opening our course centre in Norwich.
Staff are working in the office and remotely, supporting our hundreds of current online students, and preparing for this year’s 3-week intensive online courses.
Unfortunately, due to the current travel restrictions and quarantine requirements for visitors implemented from Monday 17th May, we have taken the tough decision to cancel our July face-to-face open-enrolment courses in Norwich. We are, however, pleased to announce that we are able to offer alternatives to most of these courses either face-to-face at our partner institutions in Ireland and Malta, or through NILE Online.
With the current success of the vaccine programme in the UK, we are hopeful and confident that we will soon be able to re-open our teaching facilities in Norwich, and our August face-to-face courses are currently open for applications.
In the meantime, we continue to focus on expanding and deliver a fantastic NILE Online experience. We have recently moved to a brand new eLearning platform, with a fresh new look and new functionality added to the same great content, and we look forward to welcoming you to our summer NILE Online courses.
We will continue to update you regularly via the website, social media and email on our plans for re-opening the Norwich centre. Please contact us on our usual emails, via the website or directly through your tutor with any queries on current or future courses and projects.
