This short course will give teachers many of the tools and skills they need to deliver their classes online, and as an optional add-on, expert individual guidance and feedback on what solutions actually work in given contexts.
Participants can choose between two versions of the course:
Option A) Take Your Teaching Online course plus a complementary English language development course at your CEFR level (B1-C2), delivered on the Macmillan English Campus learning platform
Option B) Take Your Teaching Online course including either an assignment (with certificate) or a tutorial with an online learning specialist plus a complementary English language development course at your CEFR level (B1-C2), delivered on the Macmillan English Campus learning platform

Is this course for you?
The course is suitable for anyone who needs to move teaching and learning online.
There are no pre-requisites to joining the course.
Option A) £39 (and option to add assignment or tutorial later for an additional £60)
Option B) £89 (save £10).
Course content
Option B:
Completing a guided assignment: This will be based on putting into practice what they have learnt in the context of their own immediate needs. NILE / TTV will give feedback on each assignment. Passing this makes teachers eligible for a NILE Certificate of Successful Achievement.
A 30-minute live 1:1 session: Talk through any issues with an online course you are developing with an online learning specialist.
Whichever is chosen should be completed within four weeks of starting the course.

NILE Online courses are highly interactive and learning takes place through varied and engaging multimedia content and the collaboration between participants from different contexts. All participants work on the same unit in the same week but there is a high level of flexibility within that time period to help you fit studying around your life and work. The interaction via forums and the other powerful digital tools built into the platform help and encourage you to share ideas, ask questions, explore concepts and build up a community.
You need a computer, a headset (with microphone) and an Internet connection. Much of the course can be done on a mobile device, but a computer is needed for certain activities and tasks.
All participants have access to NILE’s extensive ELT e-library and an innovative social and cultural programme.
Course Leader
Johanna is responsible for coordinating and developing all academic aspects of NILE Online.
She is a NILE Associate Trainer who teaches, trains teachers, writes materials and gives presentations about English language teaching. She has written teaching materials for Cambridge University Press and self-published Teaching Spelling to English Language Learners (British Council Award for ELT Writing – Special Commendation and nominated for an ELTon Award for Innovation in Teacher Resources).
