Niki JosephNILE Consultant Trainer

Niki is an experienced educational professional with a wealth of worldwide experience. She is an ELT teacher, teacher trainer, examiner, examiner trainer, curriculum developer and a published materials writer. CELTA and DELTA qualified, with an M.A in Education, she has worked and lived in Brazil, Italy and Portugal.

In Portugal, she was involved in a language school project to deliver extra-curricular English in primary schools. She recruited teachers with experience of adults and teens, and trained them to teach primary, and later pre-school English. Subsequently, she was involved with a Portuguese government initiative co-writing the guidelines and syllabus for these age groups and carrying out training. Niki has worked with IH, NILE and the British Council on short teacher training courses and also in Portugal as a trainer.

Now based in in Australia, Niki is now a full-time materials writer working with publisher from around the world. She enjoys creating engaging content for learners of all ages including course books, activity books, teacher’s guides, tests, CLIL materials and readers.

Passionate about young learners and early teens, she also loves working with their teachers to help provide the best possible learning and teaching experience. Niki is a regular speaker at national and international events.
