Jen DobsonNILE Consultant Trainer

Jen is an ELT teacher, teacher trainer and award-winning author specialising in Early Years, Primary and digital pedagogies.

She has over thirty years teaching experience and worked as an IT coordinator and DELTA local tutor before going freelance.

She is an international conference speaker and has presented plenary sessions on preschool methodology and online safeguarding. She has extensive online tutoring experience and spent much of the pandemic tutoring others to become online trainers.

Although she authors mainly on preschool and Primary projects, her writing for adult learners for the BBC was also an ELTONs finalist. She’s the lead author on Toy Team, a new international preschool series for Oxford University Press.

She collaborates with NILE as a consultant and has worked on their Teaching for Success project with the British Council and the Tunisian Ministry of Education, and with work on blended learning for young learners. .
