Vinicius Nobre

Vinicius Nobre is based in Toronto and currently works for Everybody Loves Languages, a Canada-based language e-learning solution provider, as Director of Pedagogy. He is the co-author of three teaching methodology books: "Getting into Teacher Education: a Handbook" (Cengage, 2016), "Teaching English Today: Contexts and Objectives" (Swan Communication, 2019), and "Getting into ELT Assessment" (Cengage, 2020), and two coursebook series for K-12: "Project Ace"(Pearson, 2010) and "Hyperlink" (Pearson, 2010).

Vinnie is an experienced education executive, having acted as Academic Director in some of the largest and most reputable language centers in Brazil (Associação Cultura Inglesa and CNA Idiomas). He was also one of the founders of a highly successful educational start-up in Brazil that specialized in content development and teacher training (Troika), having had the opportunity to work with major publishers, language centers, regular schools, universities and government bodies as a consultant. He has several years of experience as a CELTA tutor and assessor, as a DELTA tutor, and as a Cambridge and IELTS examiner. Vinnie has also been invited to deliver plenary talks, workshops and participate in panel discussion all around Latin America, the US and the UK.

He is an experienced public speaker who explores a wide range of topics: education management and leadership, teaching young learners and teenagers, assessment, teacher development, content writing, course design, education technology and general teaching principles. He is also a professor for post-graduation courses in Brazil and was the president of BRAZ-TESOL and a volunteer in the IATEFL's YLTSIG and the Brazilian Chamber of Commerce as the leader of the Education and Development committee.
