Maria ByrneNILE Consultant Trainer

Maria Byrne has been a teacher since 1999 and a teacher trainer since 2002. Since 2022 she has been a Primary School teacher in the UK with responsibility for Modern Foreign Languages. For much of her career she lived and worked abroad in China, Chile, Spain and Thailand. She is currently based in Norwich and holds a PGCE in Primary Education, the Cambridge DELTA, and has completed an MA which specialises in engaging dyslexic language learners. Her particular interests are multisensory learning techniques and creative teaching.
