Kate GregsonNILE Consultant Trainer

Kate Gregson has worked with NILE since 2016 as a MAPDLE supervisor and tutor on various modules, as well as on training courses for NILE Online and other tailor-made courses and projects. She also works as a freelance trainer, writer and consultant, based in France, having worked in ELT in South America, Asia, the Middle East and Europe for over 30 years.

Kate has a Master’s degree in Teaching English to Young Learners from the University of York, and holds a DELTA and CTEFLA. She is active in IATEFL SIGs, and has served on the YLTSIG committee as lead publications editor. She is the author of The TKT Course Young Learners Module (Cambridge University Press, 2024) and various young learner coursebooks, including Ready, Steady, Grow! for Early Years children. She also reviews for the ELT Journal, among others, and has published various articles.

In her free time, Kate enjoys visiting new places, spending time with family and friends, hiking in the Pyrenees, gardening and cooking.
