Julie WallisNILE Consultant Trainer

Julie Wallis has worked as a consultant trainer for NILE since 2018, after working as a DOS on a Teacher Training Summer School for two years. She is based in Italy where she runs The London School. She has previously worked as a consultant in Turkey, France, Austria, Germany, Malta and Ethiopia.

She is a DELTA qualified teacher, currently doing a Master’s degree through NILE at Chichester University and has over 35 years’ experience in ELT, working for renowned institutions such as NILE, Pilgrims, Bell and TransformELT.

Julie is also a trustee on the Eaquals Board; is on the advisory board of TransformELT, has sat on the board of AISLi and is now AISLi Academic and Events coordinator. She is also an Inspector for both AISLi and Eaquals; and a member of the IATEFL Leadership and Management Special Interest Group.

She has produced teacher training seminars for AISLi, for whom she is now President, and she has been a plenary speaker at CEBS in 2018.
