Eleanor BatemanFacilities and Administration Officer

Eleanor is the friendly presence meeting you at the NILE reception. Her role is to welcome NILE participants and guests and assist with any questions you might have. Eleanor also works on the Facilities Team to ensure excellent working conditions are maintained and both staff and students are kept safe at NILE. As NILE’s Librarian, Eleanor support participants with NILE's on-site and online specialist ELT library.

Before starting her role at NILE, Eleanor worked as a subtitler. With a BA in English and French, she speaks fluent French and holds an MA in Audiovisual and Literary Translation.

In her spare time, Eleanor enjoys printmaking, reading, going to the cinema and yoga.
