Chloë HynesNILE Consultant Trainer

Chloë Hynes

Chloë is a qualified teacher and trainer (QTLS, ATS and CTEACH) with a digital/ art and drama background. She originally qualified as an art teacher but after spending a summer at an EFL camp, retrained to teach ESOL and has taught in her local community in Merseyside, England for more than 10 years. Chloë enjoys training online as it affords people opportunities to learn regardless of time- space-related boundaries.

Chloë currently facilitates the NILE Learning Differences and Inclusion in Language Teaching course alongside Rachel Öner. It's a course which allows Chloë to share her lived experience with others in the hope of furthering more understanding of neurodivergence within the EFL sector. She finds it fascinating learning from fellow ELT practitioners across the globe. Rachel and Chloë regularly work with one another in various ELT capacities; most significantly they both stand on the management council for NATECLA (National Association for Teachers of English and other Community Languages to Adults) representing ESOL practitioners in the UK.

Outside her worklife, Chloë enjoys spending time with her two daughters. She has long been interested in second language acquisition but since having children, her love of language has blossomed.
