Webinar Tuesday 28 January 2020

How can language teachers free up more time in class for communication in the foreign language and allow students of all abilities the time and space to understand?
The Flipped Classroom movement, first introduced by Jonathan Bergmann and Aaron Sams in the early 2000s, does just this.
Russell Stannard has been a key figure in popularising the flipped classroom in language teaching, having been involved in the early stages of developing the movement, using it with his own learners and helping teachers with the practical aspects of flipping their classes. In this talk he will highlight some of the key findings from over 10 years of flipped classroom research as well as his own experiences of flipping his classes. A highly practical webinar that will provide you with loads of tips and ideas on how to effectively flip your classes.
