We are delighted to be able to offer online alternatives to many of our scheduled face-to-face teacher development programmes for this summer, and to add some new courses to this provision.

The NILE Online Summer Courses 2020 will be provided in July and August, consisting of 45 hours tuition over three weeks plus 5 hours of social and professional interaction.

The proposed courses will be led by the same great NILE tutoring team, contain the same learning outcomes and interaction opportunities, with amazing NILE materials and resources, in live and asynchronous sessions, all hosted on our award-winning NILE Online platform.

While we are still hopeful and confident that we will be able to return to our teaching facilities in Norwich before the summer programme is due to start, we are also aware that there are many variables out of our hands, and we feel unable to offer guarantees to our course participants in some of the following areas:

  •                - Transport to get to the UK and transport options within it
  •                - The effect of social distancing regulations on classrooms and social spaces
  •                - Possible government quarantine restrictions on course participants arriving
  •                  from outside the UK
  •                - Accommodation and social programme restrictions and reduced capacity

In light of all the above, we very much hope that you will choose a NILE Online experience this summer, in place of our usual wonderful face-to-face courses and extra-curricular activities.
