2015 sees the launch of the Macmillan Education ‘Teachers at the Heart’ campaign, a year of celebrations and promotions to make sure teachers are appreciated for the role they play in guiding and inspiring learners. As part of this campaign, Macmillan Education is launching a year-long global competition to find the best teachers of English as a foreign language.
The Macmillan Education Scholarship Competition aims to recognise and reward the hard work, creativity and passion of teachers around the world.
For this competition, Macmillan Education has partnered with NILE, and we are happy to offer five deserving winners a 2 week teacher training course, including flights and accommodation!
To enter, teachers must provide evidence of a creative and innovative idea they have implemented in the classroom that has had a positive effect on the learning outcomes of their students. All current English language teachers are eligible for entry and can be nominated by a senior colleague for a chance to win.

For more information, submitting an entry and to learn more about Macmillan Education’s teacher resources, visit Macmillan’s website.

The competition closes December 1st 2015.

Macmillan Education is one of the world's leading publishers of English Language teaching and school curriculum materials, with 170 years of publishing experience.
