Accreditation by British Council and Eaquals serves as a stamp of quality for language schools. NILE was inspected by both organisations in August 2015, and we are very pleased that our hard work for quality in all areas of our operation was recognised.

British Council noted strengths in 14 out of 15 categories (see below), which leaves us ranked 2nd amongst all the inspected school in the UK and the top teacher training institute in the country. Eaquals, which has member schools across Europe and beyond, awarded points of excellence in 11 out of 12 categories.

The inspection process gives us the opportunity to review and consolidate our practices across the organisation, and this year we feel that the changes we've made based on feedback from participants and input from the wider ELT community really have made a difference. We are proud of what we have achieved, and we look forward to welcome even more teachers and trainers to an institute proven to be one of the absolute best in its field!

Eaquals is an international association of providers of language courses and services which aims to promote high quality within the language education field. In order to become an Accredited Member of Eaquals, each school must undergo a rigorous external inspection to ensure that the school is able to meet the strict criteria laid down in the Eaquals Charters. The inspection is repeated every four years. For further information about Eaquals, visit www.eaquals.org.

Accreditation UK is a quality-assurance scheme that monitors UK schools, colleges and universities offering courses in English as a Foreign Language (EFL).

The scheme checks and improves the standards of providers’ teaching, management, facilities and welfare provision. It is administered by English UK and the British Council.

Schools are regularly visited by experienced and independent inspectors and only those that meet the high standards of the Scheme are accredited. For more information and the full report, see the British Council Accreditation website.
