This summer, NILE course participants have the choice of two very different study locations in the UK; medieval Norwich and metropolitan Manchester.

The teaching and learning facilities provided by our sister organisation INTO in the centre of Manchester are excellent, with computer suites, free WiFi, an extensive library, and residential accommodation only a short walk away.

Manchester offers the opportunity to experience NILE’s quality courses in a major city with great international connections and a vibrant cultural life.

In July and August we will offer some of our most popular courses, such as CLIL and TYL, both in Manchester and Norwich. For the Manchester versions of Discover Contemporary English and Britain Today: Cultural Studies in ELT, we have re-focused the programmes to incorporate the northern dimension, taking full advantage of all the opportunities the new environment has to offer.

Our dedicated Manchester team, consisting of experienced NILE managers, staff and trainers, all have excellence in tutoring, materials, support and engagement as their guiding principles. With this in mind we will of course also draw on the expertise of local staff with local knowledge to help course participants get the most out of the Manchester Experience, academically, culturally and socially.

Our official launch of NILE Manchester takes place at IATEFL in April.

Celebrate with some traditional Manchester treats, join us for a tour of the new NILE summer centre, and hear all about our plans for the future.

We look forward to seeing you in Manchester!
