At NILE, the welfare of our students and staff is always our top priority. Following UK Government guidelines and advice from our accrediting bodies, we have decided to temporarily close the course centre in Norwich to reduce the impact of the coronavirus.

However, all staff are still working remotely, supporting our hundreds of online students whose courses are still running as normal.

While we are still hopeful and confident that we will soon be able to return to our teaching facilities in Norwich, we are also aware that there are many variables out of our hands, and we feel unable to offer guarantees to our course participants in some of the following areas

      - Transport to get to the UK and transport options within it

      - The effect of social distancing regulations on classrooms and social spaces

      - Possible government quarantine restrictions on course participants arriving from outside the UK

      - Accommodation and social programme restrictions and reduced capacity

In light of all the above, we have moved our focus to deliver a great NILE Online experience this summer, in place of our usual wonderful face-to-face courses and extra-curricular activities.

Many of our most popular face-to-face courses are now available as 3-week intensive online programmes with regular live sessions, social and professional interaction, a complementary language course and the option of the Trinity CertPT. The NILE Online Summer Courses 2020 start in July and August.

We have also launched new courses to aid you in continuing your teaching. Take your School Online starts in June, whilst Take Your Teaching Online continues to have free, continuous enrolment until the end of May. Courses focussing on IELTS and the CAE exam are also available.

We will continue to update you via the website, social media and email regularly over the summer. Please contact us on our usual emails, via the website or directly through your tutor with any queries on current or future courses and projects.

Stay safe.

We will update this page as soon as circumstances change.
