Colman's Mint Sauce advert

#34 'Not suitable for vegetarians'

A cheeky advert from Norwich mustard giants, Colman's, using the nursery rhyme 'Mary had a little lamb' to play on the multiple uses of 'have' and 'little,' and also 'lamb' working as a countable noun for animals and an uncountable noun for the meat. I also like the way it plays with the punctuation to deliver the punchline - breaking the rules of how a full sentence should be formed!

Location: Aylsham Road, Norwich
