In its second year, Erasmus+ funding is finally beginning to show results. Headteacher Mr. Pagano Egidio of I.I.S. M.RAPISARDI Paternò secondary school in Sicily, Italy, secured a place for Ms. Daniela Maugeri at NILE's Curriculum Development and Syllabus Design course this July. The course is taught by Tony Prince, Simon Smith and Rod Bolitho, and the funding was obtained through their school's project Una Scuola per L'Europa.
"Thanks to Erasmus plus KA 1 I have been living an overwhelming positive experience which causes you to reflect and see teaching and learning as an extremely exciting lifelong journey."
Showing plans for disseminating professional development and implementing newly acquired skills is key in a successful Erasmus+ application.
As part of her school’s project, Daniela and her project team, led by Headteacher Mr. Pagano Egidio therefore share the main points in their successful funding application to assist others in obtaining Key Action 1 funding from the European Union.
