Homestay accommodation in Norwich
Half-board homestay
accommodation is available year-round and includes bed, breakfast,
evening meal and a light or packed lunch at the weekends. Homestay
accommodation offers a single bedroom with a carefully chosen
host. We aim to match the interests and needs of our students
with the facilities offered by the host and we take into account
any special requirements or dietary needs of individual students.
In 2008, this will cost from £133 per week.
Homestay accommodation
offers the benefit of an all-round cultural experience as well
as offering extended opportunities for language practice.
Residential accommodation
at the University of East Anglia, Norwich
Residential accommodation
is available at the University of East Anglia in Norwich at certain
times of year. The accommodation is self-catering and consists
of a single study bedroom with its own shower room.
The rooms are arranged
in houses of 8 or 10 with each house offering
a fully equipped kitchen for shared use. The occupants of the
other rooms will all be NILE course participants. Food and meals
are not included in the cost but there is a small supermarket
on the campus and a large one nearby, and meals are available
at reasonable prices at restaurants on the campus. Each group
of rooms also shares a common room. Bed linen and towels are provided
and are changed once a week. The room is cleaned weekly.
This accommodation is
available for courses taking place at NILE in Norwich in July,
August and September.
